Thats a thing i hear at the gym's some time from people who are just thinking weight not movement, and often they have bad form when they train and get hurt a lot.
Then there are the other ones who says that you cant go heavy with Kettlebell because the aren't heavy enough.
Ok they sure dont have done a practice with the RKC`s, when you go heavy keep your form for safety and for the best efficiency possible.
And yes you can go heavy just keep good form, today i did a power practice and i went heavy (its heavy for me).
I started with some light joint mobility drills and some stretching.
warm up
16kg 10 2H swings, 5/5 swings, 5/5 snatch
20kg 5/5 swings, 5/5 snatch
24kg 5/5 swings, 5/5 snatch
28kg 5/5 swings
Then 5/5*10 snatch 28kg
10*5 swings with double 28kg bells
and ended with 5*3 squats with double 28kg
A nice practice that gave me a run for my money and it took 45minutes.
Here is a drill i do every night now, i do it for about 5-7minutes so i am relaxed then i stay in that pose and takes a stick with both hand and relax my shoulder in to over head stretch and stay there for 5-7 minutes.
I fell that i have fund a lot of new movement in my shoulders by doing this one.
